The Season of Green // Studio (and Garden) Update

After all of April’s cold, it’s suddenly summer!

Between gardening, other side jobs, and–yes!–some actual creating, I haven’t spent any time keeping things updated on the shop.

However, I hope to be adding some things next week.  (I’m always hoping, aren’t I?!?)  It’s my goal, anyway…

But that garden…it’s finally looking great.  We had a rough start, though not for lack of trying.  Now we have some thriving plants: potatoes, tomatoes, corn, a ton of onions, peppers, some different basil, and more.  (If you’re interested in more details, check out the Garden Girls blog here.)

I mentioned that I’ve still been creating…which includes weaving, spinning, and thinking about some new custom bloomers (though I haven’t gotten far with that.)  I’ve also been working on more textile jewelry pieces, which you should be seeing here any day.

And then there’s Craftacular!  It’s not until September, but it’s got me thinking about all that is Fall…knitting, pumpkins, Halloween!  Oooh…is it too early to be getting excited about that?! Focus, Leanne, focus……
